Woodland High School’s junior varsity boys cross country team had its five scoring runners finish in the top 12 on its way to a win at the Stoddard County conference Meet Oct. 10 at the Stars & Stripes Museum. The meet was hosted by Bloomfield High School.
Woodland finishers were: junior Elijah Vawker (22:29.6, fourth); junior Jordan Pinkard (22:53.3, sixth); senior Jespn Evans (23:07.6, seventh); freshman Samuel Tuttleton (23:18.5, eighth); and senior Jansen Booth (24:44.7, 12th).
Additional finishers were freshmen Joseph McCormick (26:17.5, 16th) and Karson Pierre (27:37.9, 17th).
The JV boys race featured 20 runners. The top three places went to Bernie sophomore Cane Hobgood (19:16.2, first), Puxico sophomore Dominick Allen (19:57.1, second) and Advance freshman Lance Robins (22:04.2, third).
