Meadow Heights High School hosts a thrilling JV boys basketball tournament this week. Catch semifinal games on Dec. 11 and the championship on Dec. 12 as teams vie for the top spot.

Meadow Heights High School is hosting a junior varsity boys basketball tournament this week.

Games began Monday, Dec. 9, with Meadow Heights taking on St. Vincent, Woodland facing Saxony Lutheran, Leopold against Perryville and Arcadia Valley taking on Oak Ridge in quarterfinal contests.

Semifinal games Wednesday, Dec. 11 will feature the winners of Woodland vs. Saxony and Leopold vs. Perryville in the top half of the bracket while the lower half includes the Meadow Heights/St. Vincent winner against the Arcadia Valley/Oak Ridge winner.

Those semifinal games Wednesday, Dec. 11 tip at approximately 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. Consolation bracket games occur earlier, at 4 and 5:15 p.m., respectively.

The consolation championship (fifth place) game is Thursday, Dec. 12, at 5:15 p.m. This will be followed by the third place game, at 6:30 p.m. The event concludes with the championship Thursday, Dec. 12, at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Oak Ridge was late replacement for Ste. Genevieve. Woodland won the event in 2023.
