Michael Edgar Moyers, 73, of Patton died Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 29, 1950, in St. Louis, to Robert and Dollie Allen Moyers. He and Mary Moyers were married Sept. 5, 1998, at Old McKendree Chapel in Jackson. She survives him in Patton.

He retired as branch manager for MH Equipment.

Michael enjoyed working in his garage on his cars and riding his Harley. He loved spending time with Makayla, fondly known as "Peanut".

Survivors include daughter, Becky (Jake) Davis; two stepsons, T.J. (Ashley) Humphrey and Brian Humphrey; two brothers, Steve Moyers and Dale (Jan) Moyers; eight grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Moyers.

Visitation and funeral service were held Tuesday, July 16, at Ford and Liley Funeral Home in Patton, with Pastor T.J. Humphrey officiating.

Burial was at Mouser Cemetery in Marquand.
