June Elizabeth Werchow, 80, of Marble Hill passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the StoneBridge nursing facility. She was born June 8, 1944, in Grey Ridge to Ira and Martha George Waldo.

June graduated from Central High School in St. Louis and then achieved a degree as a medical secretary.

She enjoyed reading. She and her son Fred worked with the Ringling Brothers Circus for several years. This career gave her the opportunity to do what she loved: sightseeing and traveling. Throughout her years with Ringling Brothers, she traveled through 30 states, 96 cities and two countries. She always enjoyed the next town and all there was to see.

June is survived by her son, Fred Werchow of Marble Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Werchow; and brothers, Clifford, Charles and George Waldo.

No services have been planned at this time.

June is under the care of the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.
