Kale Andrew Landewee was born Nov. 14, 2006.
He is the son of Tara and Tyler Qualls and Andy Landewee and has two brothers Ike Landewee and Maddsen Qualls.
His favorite teacher is Ms. Braswell because he’s gotten close to her on the last few beta trips and whenever he constantly went into her class to annoy her and take water bottles. His favorite staff Quotes come from Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Gaines, “Kale! It’s Mrs. Johnson,” and “Kale! You’re late.”
Kale’s favorite school memories are when Mr. Shrum would make a schoolwide announcement to tell him to come back to his class as soon as he would walk out the door and when they won the baseball conference tournament his sophomore year. His most embarrassing high school memory is anytime he has ever danced at a school function.
When Kale was a child, he wanted to be a major league baseball player. After high school he plans to either attend Oral Roberts University or Christ For All Nations School of Evangelism to study evangelism.
He participates in BETA, FCA, PEP club, and he plays on the baseball team. Kale’s advice to underclassmen is to “Find a few key sports or clubs and focus on excelling in those, also understand that these years are some of the most important for growth in your personal life, so don’t let anything distract you from that growth.”
When asked how he feels about graduating he stated, “I’m extremely excited about what God has planned for my future and the things he is going to do in the upcoming seasons of my life. One thing Kale will miss about high school is constantly messing around with all the teachers and getting to form some really cool connections with teachers and classmates.
When asked who has had the greatest influence on him, he responded “Jesus and the Holy Spirit, they have changed my life forever.” Kale’s mom who is his best friend, his youth pastor Tony Bartkoski, his stepdad, and evangelist Nathon Morris have all had a great impact on his life and have been great role models that have shaped who he is today.
His greatest accomplishment so far is going to gospel campaigns with Shake the Nations Ministry in El Salvador and Nicaragua. He said, “Getting to be a part of such incredible events with such people of deep faith and such deep outpouring of God’s presence, truly changed my life forever.”
