Filing for April elections begins next month

Election Day was less than a month ago.

However, for those interested in being a candidate for elected office next April, the filing period starts in December.

The filing period for school board candidates as well as aldermen positions takes place from Dec. 10 to Dec. 31.

The next election will occur Tuesday, April 8.

There will not be a primary. For more information about the filing period, contact the Bollinger County Clerk’s office on weekdays at (573) 238-2126 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the county courthouse in Marble Hill.
