Bollinger County's newly elected officials, including clerk Megan Hill and sheriff Casey Graham, were sworn in at the Marble Hill courthouse. Some are new to office, while others continue their service.

Several Bollinger County elected officials were formally sworn in to take office Monday, Dec. 30, at the courthouse in Marble Hill.

County Clerk Megan Hill, Administrator Missy Finley, Coroner Calvin Troxell, Assessor Ronda Elfrink, Sheriff Casey Graham, District 1 Commissioner Travis Benfield and District 2 Commissioner Chad Hulvey were sworn in Dec. 30 by outgoing County Clerk Brittany Howard at 9 a.m.

Troxell, Elfrink, Graham, Hulvey have all previously served. Hill is replacing Brittany Howard, while Finley, who started earlier in the fall to fill a vacancy and Benfield also are new to public office.

The four-year terms for Finley and Benfield will expire Dec. 31, 2028 while Hill is serving the remainder of Howard's four-year unexpired term which concludes Dec. 31, 2026.
